This module BASICS OF CLINICAL GENETICS is intended for 3rd year students and is composed of sections that include topics on the considered aspects of clinical genetics. Each topic includes a lecture (in the format of video lectures) and a practical lesson. A list of reading, reading, and online resources is provided at the beginning of the module.
The "Fundamentals of Clinical Genetics" module includes the study of the most pressing issues of the current state of medical genetics. During practical classes and lectures, students get acquainted with the methods of diagnosis and treatment of hereditary diseases.
Modern methods of treatment and prevention of hereditary diseases are analyzed in detail in accordance with the recommendations of the recommendations, as well as the standards and procedures for the provision of medical care.
The total duration of training is 36 hours, of which: lectures - 6 hours, practical classes - 15 hours, independent work - 15 hours.
