in therapeutic stomatology
1.The history of the development of therapeutic dentistry. Therapeutic dentistry, as the main dental discipline. Achievements of therapeutic dentistry. The relationship of therapeutic dentistry with other medical disciplines. The tasks of therapeutic dentistry in the treatment and prevention of dental diseases. Research of Russian scientists in the development and progress of therapeutic dentistry.
2.Organization of dental care in Russia. The organizational structure of dental clinics and dental therapeutic department. Dental office, its equipment. Dental Instrumentation. Ergonomics and scientific organization of labor. Safety precautions.
3.Examination methods of dental patient in the therapeutic dentistry. Medical examination. Detection of caries a white spot in step (technique by Aksamit). Medical questionnaire. Recording medical records of a dental patient. Accounting and reporting documentation of a dentist. Ethics and deontology in therapeutic dentistry.
4.Sterilization of dental instruments. The methods and techniques.
5.Cariesogenic situation in the oral cavity. Plaque, its role in the occurrence of dental caries and periodontal disease. General principles for eliminating a cariogenic situation. Methods of increasing resistance of enamel. Comprehensive program for the prevention of dental caries. Endogenous and exogenous, drug and drug-free prophylaxis of dental caries.
6.Oral hygiene as a method of prevention of dental caries and periodontal diseases. Individual, rational, controlled oral hygiene. Determination of oral hygiene index. Methods of detection and removal of dental plaque. Professional oral hygiene. Comprehensive program for the prevention of periodontal disease. Endogenous and exogenous, drug and drug-free prevention of parodontal diseases.
7.FINAL LESSON. Decision of situational tasks and clinical tests on the topic: "Prevention of dental caries and periodontal disease".
